My most favorite cartoon in the world for life the “Smurfs“celebrated their 50 years throughout 20 cities in Europe today! The smurfs are very international and originating in France October 23rd, 1958. The first publication of the Smurfs or better known as the Schtrompfs, appeared in the Belgium newspaper named Spiron with the French language.

The smurfs are very international and here are some of the names in other countries that I know of:

French - Schtrompfs

English - Smurfs

Spanish - Pitufos

Smurffit - Finnish

On television in the USA the Smurfs endured 16 seasons and running 272 episodes which I have probably seen all by Hanna Barbera.

If you’re a fan or not its interesting to check out the Smurfs anniversary website. Its neat even if you’re not a fan.

I actually have a collectible Smurfs pendant that my mother bought me as a child. I still have it. I’m not even sure which Smurf it is but I’m happy that I still have it.

My favorite Smurf - Brainy Smurf - he always messed up even though he thought he knew it all

Grumpy and Smurfette. Well I actually loved them all. And Papa Smurf the big daddy of all Smurfs

Well I guess the Yahoo! Publisher Program is ahead of Google Adsense with one minor thing and that is payment options. Perhaps they could be opening the option after the beta is over for other countries to receive payments faster and easier. I’m for one happy that they have added this option although I prefer direct deposit because there are no fees involved at all. With a business Paypal account a percentage is deducted every time that your receive any type of payments. If you have low standing you might want to opt in the paypal option to receive your payment faster but with a small fee!

Here is how you activate it in your account:

So it is with PayPal, which, we wanted to remind you, is now a payment option for publishers in our network. There are a number of bennies to using PayPal:

    * Payment requires a minimum balance of just $50, as opposed to $100 for checks
* Same-day payment—whereas check payments are made seven to ten days after we receive the request (payments will still be issued on pre-determined days)
* No-fee transfers to your PayPal account, so you don’t pay more for the convenience

To add PayPal to your account, go to the “Payment Options” page under the Account Information tab, check the PayPal radio button, and click “Submit.”

Auction ads to put it simple is very awesome. I like it because its easy to add to any site and ebay has a truck load of items ranging from weird to luxury. My total is far from something to brag about but placing the ads on websites that hardly get much traffic has done pretty decent.

I average about 300 impressions a day which is very low. Total revenue earned 15 including $11.56 from May 13th. Not too bad and the minimum to receive a check is $10 by paypal.

A good offer is going around by Text Link Ads who are offering their customers that join AuctionAds $5.00 deposited into your new auction ads account. Pretty good stuff considering the minimum for a check is $10 you’re almost halfway there

So go over to TLA to sign up for a free account there and then sign up for Auction Ads!

Good luck

I had to train it several times. And because I have a webcam and a Altec Lancing headset mic-in microphone I ran into some difficulties. But overall it is very intuitive. After playing around with it, I managed to spit out articles with 450 words in about 5 minutes, plus editing which was another 2 minutes. I can say that isn’t bad at all. In the past I have outsourced many articles and I still will for more topics that I don’t have much interest or know absolutely NOTHING about.

I never thought after taking those Speech Recognition classes at Georgetown, that I would be using it. That class was quite boring, well at least the professor. Looking back I still remember a good thing or two

I recommend anyone who needs to dictate or write constantly to give Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 or previous versions a try!
